To start a washing cycle, load your laundry into the drum, add detergent to the appropriate compartment, select the desired program using the program dial, adjust any additional settings like temperature or spin speed, and press the start button.
First, check if the washing machine is properly plugged into a power outlet. Verify that the outlet is working by testing another device. Ensure that the door is closed securely, as the machine will not start if the door is open or not latched properly. If the problem persists, inspect the circuit breaker or fuse box.
To clean the detergent drawer, remove it by pulling it out until it stops, then press down on the release catch to fully remove it. Rinse the compartments under warm water to remove any residue. Use a soft brush if needed. Once clean, reinsert the drawer into the machine.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the detergent drawer, checking and cleaning the door seal to prevent mold, inspecting and cleaning the filter, and running an empty hot wash cycle with vinegar or a washing machine cleaner to remove detergent buildup.
Ensure that the washing machine is level on the floor. Adjust the feet if necessary to stabilize the machine. Avoid overloading the drum and make sure the load is evenly distributed. Check for any transit bolts that may not have been removed during installation.
If the washing machine is not draining, check the drain hose for kinks or blockages. Inspect and clean the pump filter located at the bottom of the machine. Make sure that the drain hose is positioned correctly and that the height of the hose is within the manufacturer’s specifications.
To reset the washing machine, unplug it from the power source or turn off the circuit breaker for about 1 minute. Then, reconnect the power. This can help reset the control panel and resolve minor issues.
If the door won't open, ensure that the cycle has fully completed and that the water has drained. Wait a few minutes as the door lock mechanism may need time to release. If it still doesn't open, disconnect the machine from the power for a few minutes and try again. If the problem persists, consult the manual or contact customer service.
To prevent odors, leave the door slightly ajar after each wash to allow the drum to dry. Regularly clean the door seal and run a maintenance wash with a machine cleaner or vinegar. Ensure that you are using the correct amount of detergent to prevent buildup.
Common error codes include E01 (door lock problem), E02 (water fill issue), E03 (drain problem), and E04 (overflow or leak). Refer to the user manual for a complete list of error codes and recommended actions.
