To adjust the temperature, locate the thermostat dial inside the refrigerator compartment. Turn the dial clockwise to lower the temperature and counterclockwise to increase it.
First, check if the refrigerator is plugged in and the thermostat is set correctly. Ensure that the door seals are intact and that the vents inside are not blocked. If the problem persists, it may require professional servicing.
To defrost the freezer, remove all contents, unplug the refrigerator, and leave the freezer door open. Use towels to absorb the melting ice. Once defrosted, clean the compartment and plug the refrigerator back in.
Unusual noises can result from a misaligned fridge, items inside vibrating, or the compressor running. Ensure the fridge is level, rearrange items inside, and check if noise persists.
It is recommended to clean the condenser coils every 6 months to maintain efficiency. You can use a vacuum or a coil brush for cleaning.
First, check if the bulb is burned out and replace it if necessary. Ensure that the refrigerator is plugged in and the door switch is functioning properly.
To change the door gasket, remove the old gasket by pulling it out of the groove. Align the new gasket with the groove and press it firmly into place, ensuring it's properly sealed.
Water pooling may be due to a blocked defrost drain. Unclog the drain using warm water or a pipe cleaner to ensure proper drainage.
To maximize energy efficiency, ensure the refrigerator is not overfilled, keep the temperature settings optimal, and regularly clean the door seals and condenser coils.
Store raw meat on the bottom shelf to prevent dripping, dairy in the colder areas, and fruits and vegetables in the crisper drawers. Keep frequently used items at the front for easy access.
