To adjust the temperature, locate the temperature control dial inside the refrigerator. Turn the dial to the desired setting: higher numbers for colder temperatures and lower numbers for warmer temperatures.
First, check if the refrigerator is plugged in and the power is on. Ensure that the temperature setting is correct. Clean the condenser coils if they are dirty, and make sure the door seals are not broken or dirty.
The Fagor FA1530 is frost-free, so it should not require manual defrosting. However, if you notice frost buildup, check the door seals and ensure the door closes properly.
Unusual noises can be caused by the refrigerator not being level, items inside vibrating, or the condenser fan or compressor malfunctioning. Ensure the refrigerator is level and check internal components for stability.
Unplug the refrigerator and locate the condenser coils, usually at the back or bottom. Use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to remove dust and debris. Be gentle to avoid damaging the coils.
Water pooling can be due to a blocked defrost drain. Clear the drain by flushing it with warm water using a baster or syringe. Ensure the refrigerator is level to prevent water from accumulating.
Ensure the door seals are tight and not damaged. Avoid placing the refrigerator near heat sources and allow adequate ventilation around it. Keep the temperature settings moderate, around 37°F (3°C) for the fridge.
Store raw meats on the lower shelves to prevent dripping onto other foods. Use airtight containers to keep food fresh and reduce odors. Allow space between items for proper air circulation.
Unplug the refrigerator. Locate the light cover inside and remove it by unscrewing or unclipping it. Replace the bulb with a new one of the same type and wattage, then reattach the cover.
Check the door seals for damage and ensure they are clean. Inspect the defrost drain for blockages and clear them if needed. Ensure the refrigerator is level and that the drain pan is not cracked or overflowing.
