To adjust the temperature settings, locate the thermostat control knob inside the refrigerator compartment. Turn the knob to a higher number for a colder temperature and to a lower number for a warmer temperature.
If your refrigerator is not cooling properly, check if the door is closing properly, ensure the vents inside the refrigerator are not blocked, and verify that the thermostat is set to the correct temperature. Clean the condenser coils if necessary.
It is recommended to clean the condenser coils at least twice a year to ensure optimal performance. Dust and debris can accumulate on the coils, reducing the efficiency of the refrigerator.
Check if the defrost drain is clogged. Use a mixture of warm water and baking soda to clear any blockage. Also, ensure that the refrigerator is level to prevent water from pooling inside.
Ensure that the refrigerator is level and all feet are in contact with the floor. Check for any loose items on top of or inside the refrigerator that might vibrate, and make sure the condenser fan is not obstructed.
To defrost the freezer, remove all items and unplug the refrigerator. Leave the freezer door open to allow the ice to melt naturally. Place towels or a pan to catch the water. Once defrosted, clean the compartment and restart the appliance.
Ensure the door seals are airtight by cleaning and inspecting them regularly. Keep the refrigerator away from heat sources, and avoid placing hot food inside. Set the temperature to recommended settings to avoid unnecessary energy consumption.
First, check if the bulb needs replacing. If the bulb is good, inspect the door switch to ensure it is not stuck. If the issue persists, consider contacting a technician for further diagnosis.
Store raw meat on the bottom shelf to prevent cross-contamination, keep fruits and vegetables in the designated crisper drawers, and ensure all items are covered or sealed to maintain freshness and prevent odor transfer.
Regularly clean the interior shelves and drawers, check and replace the water filter if applicable, inspect door seals for integrity, and clean the condenser coils as part of routine maintenance.
