To reset the Fagor ES34IT dishwasher, press and hold the Start/Stop button for about 3 seconds until the current cycle cancels. Then, turn off the dishwasher and wait for a few seconds before turning it back on.
Ensure that the dishwasher is properly plugged in and that the circuit breaker has not tripped. Also, check if the door is fully closed and latched securely.
Remove the bottom rack to access the filters. Twist and pull out the cylindrical filter and rinse it under running water. Ensure to clean the larger flat filter beneath it as well. Reassemble the filters before using the dishwasher again.
Check for any blockages in the drain hose or the sink's drain. Also, inspect the dishwasher's filters and clean them if necessary. Ensure that the drain pump is functioning correctly.
Open the rinse aid dispenser and use the dial inside to adjust the amount of rinse aid released per cycle. Turn the dial to a higher number for more rinse aid, or to a lower number for less.
Cloudy dishes are often a result of hard water deposits. Ensure you are using the correct amount of detergent and maintain adequate levels of rinse aid. Consider using a water softener if necessary.
Regular maintenance should be performed every 3 to 6 months, which includes cleaning the filters, checking the spray arms for blockages, and inspecting the door seal for any debris.
Place larger items like pots and pans on the bottom rack, and smaller, more delicate items like glasses and cups on the top rack. Ensure that no items block the spray arms.
Bad odors can result from food debris trapped in the filters or seals. Clean the filters regularly and use a dishwasher cleaner or run an empty cycle with vinegar to eliminate odors.
Refer to the user manual for a list of error codes and their meanings. Common solutions include resetting the dishwasher, checking for blockages, and ensuring proper water supply.
