Place larger items like pots and pans on the bottom rack and smaller items such as cups and glasses on the top rack. Ensure that dishes do not block the spray arms.
Check if the dishwasher is properly plugged in and that the door is securely closed. Also, ensure that the water supply is turned on.
Remove the bottom rack and unscrew the filter located at the bottom of the dishwasher. Rinse it under running water to remove debris.
Check for blockages in the drain hose or filter. Make sure the drain pump is not obstructed and is functioning correctly.
Regular monthly cleaning of the filter and checking for blockages or buildup in the spray arms is recommended.
Use a high-quality dishwasher detergent recommended for automatic dishwashers. Avoid using regular dish soap.
Use a rinse aid in the dishwasher to help prevent cloudiness and ensure your glasses come out sparkling.
Use the intensive or heavy wash cycle for pots, pans, and heavily soiled dishes for optimal cleaning results.
Inspect the door gasket for any damage or debris. Clean the gasket and ensure the dishwasher is level. Replace the gasket if it's worn.
Ensure that dishes are loaded properly and are not touching the spray arms. Inspect the pump and motor for any obstructions or damage.
