To adjust the temperature, locate the temperature control dial inside the refrigerator. Turn the dial clockwise to lower the temperature and counterclockwise to raise it. Allow 24 hours for the changes to take effect.
Unusual noises can result from the refrigerator being unlevel, items inside vibrating, or the compressor cycling. Ensure that the refrigerator is level, and rearrange items inside to prevent them from vibrating against each other.
It is recommended to defrost the refrigerator once the frost build-up reaches about 1/4 inch thick. This helps maintain energy efficiency and optimal performance.
First, check that the refrigerator is plugged in and the temperature setting is correct. Clean the condenser coils and ensure that the doors are sealing properly. If the issue persists, consult a technician.
To change the light bulb, unplug the refrigerator, remove the light cover inside, unscrew the old bulb, and replace it with a new one of the same type and wattage. Then, replace the cover and plug the refrigerator back in.
Water pooling can be due to a blocked defrost drain. Clean the drain using a mixture of baking soda and water, and ensure it's clear from any obstructions.
Clean the interior with a mixture of mild detergent and warm water. Avoid harsh chemicals. Remove shelves and drawers for separate cleaning, and dry all surfaces thoroughly before reassembling.
Ensure that the door seals are intact, keep the condenser coils clean, and avoid overloading the refrigerator. Set the thermostat to the recommended temperature settings for optimal efficiency.
Check for obstructions in the door seal and ensure the refrigerator is level. Tighten or adjust door hinges if necessary, and check that the door gasket is clean and not damaged.
Store food in sealed containers and regularly check for expired items. Use baking soda or activated charcoal to absorb odors, and clean the interior surfaces regularly.
