To adjust the temperature, locate the control panel inside the refrigerator. Use the temperature control buttons to set your desired temperature for both the fridge and freezer sections.
Ensure the refrigerator is plugged in and the thermostat is set correctly. Check the condenser coils for dirt and clean them if necessary. Make sure the door seals are intact and not damaged.
It is recommended to clean the condenser coils at least twice a year to maintain efficient cooling performance.
Frost buildup could be due to a faulty door gasket, frequent opening of the freezer door, or a malfunctioning defrost timer. Check these components and replace or repair as needed.
To defrost the refrigerator, turn it off and remove all food. Leave the doors open to allow the ice to melt naturally. Clean up excess water afterward and restart the unit.
Keep the refrigerator away from heat sources, ensure proper ventilation around the appliance, and avoid overloading it with food. Regularly check and maintain door gaskets and temperature settings.
Check if the refrigerator is level and ensure it is not touching any walls or cabinets. Inspect the fans and motors for any obstructions or wear and tear.
Unplug the refrigerator. Locate the light cover inside the fridge, remove it, and replace the bulb with a new one of the same type and wattage. Reattach the cover and plug the refrigerator back in.
This may be due to a clogged defrost drain. Clear the drain by flushing it with warm water. Ensure the drain hose is not kinked or blocked.
After a power outage, unplug the refrigerator for a few minutes. Plug it back in, and adjust the temperature settings if necessary. Allow it to reach optimal cooling conditions.
