To adjust the temperature settings, locate the temperature control dial inside the refrigerator compartment. Turn the dial to the right to lower the temperature and to the left to increase it. Ensure that the refrigerator is not overloaded for optimal performance.
Unusual noises can be caused by the refrigerator not being level. Check to ensure that it’s on a flat surface and adjust the feet if necessary. Additionally, ensure that nothing inside is vibrating against the walls.
First, check the temperature settings to ensure they are correct. Ensure the door seals are not damaged and that the door is closing properly. Clean the condenser coils if they are dusty or obstructed.
The freezer should be defrosted when the frost build-up reaches about 6mm (1/4 inch) thick. Regular defrosting ensures the appliance operates efficiently.
To clean the interior, unplug the refrigerator and remove all food items. Use a solution of mild detergent and warm water to wipe down the surfaces. Rinse with clean water and dry with a soft cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners.
First, unplug the refrigerator. Locate the light cover inside the compartment, remove it by unscrewing or unclipping, and replace the bulb with a new one of the same wattage and size. Reattach the cover and plug in the refrigerator.
Water pooling could be due to a blocked defrost drain. Check the drain located at the back of the refrigerator and clear any blockages with a warm water flush or a pipe cleaner.
To change the door swing direction, remove the hinge covers and screws, then reposition the hinges on the opposite side. Ensure all screws are tightened and the door is aligned properly. Consult the user manual for detailed instructions.
Perform regular maintenance every 3-6 months, including cleaning the coils, checking door seals, and ensuring the temperature settings are correct. Defrost the freezer as needed to prevent frost build-up.
After a power outage, simply unplug the refrigerator for a few minutes, then plug it back in. Check temperature settings and adjust if necessary. Ensure the compressor is running properly afterward.
