To perform a factory reset on the Etrovision N26 series camera, locate the reset button on the camera body. Press and hold the reset button for approximately 10 seconds until the camera reboots. This will restore the camera to its default settings.
To update the firmware, download the latest firmware file from the Etrovision support website. Log into the camera's web interface, navigate to the 'Maintenance' section, and select 'Firmware Update'. Upload the firmware file and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update.
If the Etrovision N26 camera is not connecting to the network, first ensure that the Ethernet cable is securely connected. Check the network settings in the camera's web interface to ensure they are correct. If issues persist, try restarting the camera and your network equipment.
To configure motion detection, access the camera's web interface and go to the 'Event' section. Enable motion detection and adjust the sensitivity and detection area settings according to your requirements. Save the settings to activate motion detection.
If the video feed is blurry, check the camera lens for dirt or smudges and clean it with a soft cloth. Ensure that the camera is focused correctly. You may need to adjust the focus manually using the camera's lens adjustment mechanism.
To set up remote access, configure port forwarding on your router for the camera's IP address. In the camera's web interface, enable remote access under the network settings. Use the public IP address or a dynamic DNS service to access the camera remotely.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the camera lens monthly, checking and securing all cable connections quarterly, and updating the firmware as new versions become available. Perform a detailed inspection of the camera's physical condition annually.
To improve night vision quality, ensure that there are no obstructions near the infrared LEDs. Adjust the camera's position to avoid reflections. Using external infrared illuminators can also enhance night vision performance.
If the image is flickering, check the power supply to ensure stable voltage. Inspect the camera's cables for any damage. In the camera settings, adjust the shutter speed or flicker control options to match the lighting conditions.
Change the default username and password to a strong, unique combination. Update the camera's firmware to the latest version. Disable any unused services and enable HTTPS to encrypt remote access. Regularly review the access logs for any suspicious activity.
