To perform a factory reset, locate the reset button on the camera. Press and hold the button for about 10 seconds until the LED indicator flashes, signaling the reset process. This will restore all settings to default.
Access the camera's web interface, go to the 'Event' tab, and select 'Motion Detection'. Configure the detection area by drawing on the grid and adjust sensitivity as needed. Save your settings to activate motion detection.
Download the latest firmware from the Etrovision website. Access the camera's web interface, navigate to the 'Maintenance' section, and choose 'Firmware Update'. Upload the firmware file and follow the prompts to complete the update.
Ensure that the WiFi credentials are correct. Check signal strength and try placing the camera closer to the router. Restart both the camera and the router. If issues persist, reset the camera and reconfigure the network settings.
Enable remote access by configuring port forwarding on your router for the camera's IP address. Use a dynamic DNS service if your ISP provides a dynamic IP. Access the camera via its public IP address followed by the port number.
Regularly clean the camera lens with a soft cloth to prevent dust buildup. Check and tighten any loose mounts. Ensure firmware is up to date and review settings periodically to ensure optimal performance.
Adjust the resolution and bitrate settings in the camera's web interface under the 'Video' tab. Ensure adequate lighting in the camera's field of view and consider enabling WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) for challenging lighting conditions.
Verify power supply and network connection. Check if the camera's IP address can be pinged. Ensure the video stream is enabled in the settings. If problems persist, restart the camera and check for any loose cables.
Change the default username and password immediately after setup. Enable encryption protocols such as HTTPS. Regularly update the firmware and configure firewall settings to restrict access.
Ensure the VMS supports ONVIF or RTSP protocols. In the VMS, add the camera using its IP address and authentication details. Configure the stream settings as required. Refer to the VMS documentation for specific integration steps.
