To turn on the Easy Home EHQH15W Heater, plug it into a power outlet and press the power button located on the top of the unit. Make sure the thermostat is set to your desired temperature.
Check if the heater is plugged in and the power switch is on. Ensure the thermostat is set higher than the current room temperature. If the problem persists, inspect for blown fuses or tripped circuit breakers.
Unplug the heater and let it cool down. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior. Do not immerse the heater in water. Use a vacuum with a brush attachment to remove dust from vents.
It is recommended to clean the heater every month during usage periods and inspect it for any visible damage. Always ensure it is unplugged and cool before performing maintenance.
The heater may have overheated or the tip-over switch may have activated. Ensure the heater is on a flat, stable surface and check for any obstructions blocking airflow.
It is not recommended to use an extension cord with the heater due to the risk of overheating and potential fire hazards. Plug the heater directly into a wall outlet.
While the heater has safety features, it is not advisable to leave it unattended or on while sleeping. Use a timer or program the thermostat for safer overnight usage.
Turn off the heater and unplug it from the power source. Allow it to cool completely before plugging it back in and turning it on again. Ensure the area is well-ventilated.
The heater is equipped with an overheat protection system and a tip-over switch to automatically shut off if the unit is knocked over or exceeds safe operating temperatures.
To improve energy efficiency, use the heater in a well-insulated room, keep doors and windows closed, and set the thermostat to the lowest comfortable setting.
