To set up the Easy Home EHFH15W Heater, place it on a flat, stable surface. Ensure it is positioned at least 3 feet away from any objects. Plug the heater into a standard 120V electrical outlet. Use the control panel to select your desired temperature and mode settings.
First, check if the heater is properly plugged into a working outlet. Inspect the power cord for any damage. Ensure the power switch is turned on. If the heater still doesn't work, try resetting it by unplugging for a few minutes before plugging it back in.
Before cleaning, ensure the heater is turned off and unplugged. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior. Remove any dust from the vents with a vacuum or a brush attachment. Do not immerse the heater in water or use harsh chemicals.
Some noise is normal due to the fan and heating elements. However, if you notice unusual sounds like rattling or grinding, check for loose parts or debris inside the heater. Unplug and inspect the heater, and if necessary, contact customer support.
The heater includes an overheat protection system and a tip-over switch that automatically shuts off the heater if it overheats or is accidentally knocked over. Always use the heater on a stable surface and avoid covering it.
Use the control panel on the front of the heater to adjust the temperature. Press the "+" or "-" buttons to increase or decrease the temperature to your desired level. The current setting will be displayed on the screen.
It is not recommended to use the heater with an extension cord due to the risk of overheating and fire. Plug the heater directly into a wall outlet.
Ensure the vents are not blocked by dust or other obstructions. Clean the vents with a vacuum. If the problem persists, inspect the fan for any obstructions or damage and contact customer service if necessary.
Turn off the heater, unplug it, and allow it to cool completely. Store it in a dry, cool place away from dust and moisture. Ensure the power cord is neatly wrapped to prevent damage.
Immediately turn off and unplug the heater. Inspect for any visible damage or debris inside. If the smell persists after cleaning and inspection, discontinue use and contact customer service for further assistance.
