Doro 5517 Manual

To set up your Doro 5517, insert the SIM card and battery, then charge the phone. Turn it on by holding the power button and follow the on-screen instructions to choose your language and set the date and time.
Go to the "Contacts" menu, select "Add New Contact," and enter the contact's details. Save the contact by selecting "Save." You can also add contacts directly from the call log by selecting "Options" and then "Save."
Ensure the charger is properly connected to the phone and plugged into a working outlet. Check the charging port and cable for damage. If the phone still doesn't charge, try using a different charger or outlet.
Use the volume buttons located on the side of the phone to adjust the volume during calls or when listening to media. You can also adjust the volume settings in the "Settings" menu under "Sound."
To reset your Doro 5517, go to "Settings," select "Master Reset," and enter the security code (default is usually 1234). Confirm the reset. This will erase all personal data, so back up important information first.
To enable the flashlight, go to the "Menu," select "Extras," and then choose "Torch." You can turn it on or off from there.
Dial the specific USSD code provided by your service provider, usually something like *100# or *101#. You can also check the balance through the SIM Toolkit application if available.
Connect your Doro 5517 to a computer using a USB cable. Select "Mass Storage" on the phone when prompted. The phone will appear as a removable drive on your computer, allowing you to copy photos to your computer.
Try restarting the phone by holding the power button until it turns off, then turn it back on. If the issue persists, remove the battery, wait a few seconds, and reinsert it before turning the phone on again.
To activate the emergency call feature, press and hold the "Assistance" button on the back of the phone. Pre-set emergency contacts will be called in sequence until someone answers. Ensure contacts are set up under "Settings" > "Assistance."
