To turn on the Davis 7720 Heater, ensure it is plugged in and press the power button located on the front panel. The power indicator light will illuminate to confirm the heater is on.
First, check that the heater is plugged in and the power button is on. Ensure the thermostat is set higher than the current room temperature. If the heater still does not produce heat, inspect the fuse or circuit breaker.
Turn off and unplug the heater before cleaning. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe down the exterior. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or immersing the heater in water. Ensure the heater is completely dry before plugging it back in.
Regularly check and clean the air intake and exhaust vents to prevent dust buildup. Inspect the power cord and plug for signs of wear or damage. Ensure the heater is stored in a dry place when not in use.
The heater may have overheated or the safety tip-over switch may have been triggered. Ensure the heater is on a flat, stable surface and not obstructed. Allow it to cool down before restarting.
It is not recommended to use an extension cord as it can overheat and cause a fire hazard. If necessary, use a heavy-duty extension cord rated for the heater's power consumption.
Unplug the heater and wait for 10 seconds. Plug it back in and press the power button to restart. Check that all settings are adjusted according to your preference.
The Davis 7720 Heater is designed for medium-sized rooms up to 150 square feet. For larger areas, consider using multiple units or an additional heating source.
While the Davis 7720 Heater has safety features, it's best not to leave it unattended for extended periods. Always turn off the heater when leaving the room or going to sleep.
Use the thermostat dial to set the desired temperature. Turn the dial clockwise to increase the temperature and counterclockwise to decrease it. The heater will cycle on and off to maintain the set temperature.
