To reset the Currys Essentials CDW60B20 dishwasher, press and hold the Start/Reset button for about 3 seconds until the indicator lights flash. This will reset the machine and cancel the current cycle.
If the dishwasher is not draining, check the drain hose for any kinks or blockages. Also, ensure that the sink drain is clear. Clean the filter and pump area inside the dishwasher to remove any debris.
To clean the filter, remove the bottom rack and twist the filter assembly to unlock it. Rinse it under running water to remove debris. Ensure the filter is completely dry before reinstalling it.
The CDW60B20 offers several wash cycles including Eco, Intensive, and Quick. Eco is energy-efficient for regular cleaning, Intensive is for heavily soiled items, and Quick is for lightly soiled dishes needing rapid cleaning.
To improve drying performance, use a rinse aid, ensure that the dishwasher is not overloaded, and select a higher temperature wash cycle if available.
Unusual noises may be caused by items touching the spray arms or dishes that are not securely placed. Check and rearrange the items in the dishwasher to ensure they are not interfering with the spray arms.
Error code E4 usually indicates a water overflow issue. Check for leaks or blockages in the drain and ensure the water supply is not overfilling the dishwasher.
White spots are often caused by hard water. Use a rinse aid to help prevent this, and consider adding a water softener if your water is particularly hard.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the filter, checking and cleaning the spray arms, inspecting the door seals for debris, and running an empty cycle with a dishwasher cleaner to remove limescale buildup.
Place larger items like pots and pans on the bottom rack and smaller items like cups and glasses on the top rack. Ensure items are not blocking the spray arms and that detergent and rinse aids can reach all surfaces.
