To reset the dishwasher, press and hold the Start/Pause button for about 3 seconds until the display clears or the unit beeps. This should reset the settings.
Check for clogs in the drain hose or filter. Ensure the hose is not kinked and clean the filter located at the bottom of the dishwasher.
It is recommended to clean the filter once a month to ensure optimal performance and prevent clogs.
Use a high-quality dishwasher detergent in either powder, liquid, or tablet form. Avoid using regular dish soap as it can cause excessive suds and damage.
Residue can be caused by using too much or too little detergent, hard water, or clogged spray arms. Adjust the detergent amount, consider using a rinse aid, and check if the spray arms are clean.
Ensure that the rinse aid dispenser is filled, select a higher temperature setting if available, and unload the lower rack first to prevent water from the upper rack spilling onto it.
Noises can be due to items touching the spray arm or loose parts. Check if the spray arm is unobstructed and inspect for any loose screws or parts inside the dishwasher.
Regularly clean the filter, wipe down the door seals, and occasionally run an empty cycle with a dishwasher cleaner or white vinegar to remove build-up.
Place larger items like pots and pans on the bottom rack, and smaller items like cups and glasses on the top rack. Ensure that dishes do not block the spray arms.
Ensure the door is fully closed and latched, the dishwasher is plugged in, and the circuit breaker is not tripped. Also, check the delay start setting to ensure it is not activated.
