To season your Cuisinart GG26-30H, wash it with warm soapy water, rinse, and dry thoroughly. Apply a thin layer of vegetable oil to the surface and heat it on low for about 10 minutes. Let it cool, then wipe off any excess oil.
Clean the non-stick surface with a soft sponge and warm soapy water. Avoid using abrasive pads or harsh detergents that can damage the coating. For stubborn residue, soak in warm water before wiping clean.
The Cuisinart GG26-30H is not compatible with induction cooktops as it requires a magnetic base. It is suitable for use on gas, electric, and ceramic stovetops.
If food sticks to the non-stick surface, try soaking the pan in warm, soapy water for a few hours. Use a non-abrasive sponge to gently remove the residue. Re-season the pan if necessary.
Ensure the handles are not placed directly over a heat source. If they become too hot, use oven mitts or handle covers to protect your hands.
Store your Cuisinart GG26-30H in a cool, dry place. To protect the non-stick surface, avoid stacking other cookware on top of it unless you use a protective layer such as a cloth or pan protector.
While the Cuisinart GG26-30H is technically dishwasher safe, hand washing is recommended to preserve the non-stick coating and extend the lifespan of the pan.
If the non-stick coating is peeling or chipping, it may be time to replace the pan. Avoid using metal utensils and harsh cleaning tools to prevent further damage.
To test if the pan is preheated, sprinkle a few drops of water on the surface. If they sizzle and evaporate quickly, the pan is ready for use.
It is not recommended to use metal utensils with the Cuisinart GG26-30H, as they can scratch the non-stick surface. Opt for wooden, nylon, or silicone utensils instead.
