Cuisinart FP-14DC Instruction and Recipe Booklet

Ensure the base is on a flat surface. Secure the bowl onto the base, aligning it with the motor shaft. Attach the desired blade or attachment, and place the lid on top, locking it into place securely.
Check if the unit is plugged in securely. Ensure the bowl and lid are properly locked into position, as the processor will not operate if they are not aligned correctly.
Disconnect the appliance from power. Detach all removable parts and wash them with warm, soapy water. Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth. Avoid submerging the base in water.
Use the storage case provided to keep blades and discs organized and protected. Store the unit in a dry place with the lid off to prevent odors.
For best results, do not overfill the bowl. Use the pulse function to gradually process food. Scrape the sides of the bowl with a spatula as needed.
Replacement blades are available for purchase. Contact Cuisinart customer service or visit their website for parts. Regularly check and replace as needed for optimal performance.
To prevent overheating, do not run the processor continuously for more than a minute or two at a time. Allow the motor to rest between uses.
The maximum liquid capacity is about 3 cups to prevent overflow and leakage. For larger quantities, process in batches.
Ensure the bowl is seated correctly on the base. Check that all attachments are properly secured. If the issue persists, process smaller quantities of food.
Regularly check and tighten any loose parts. Clean after each use. Periodically inspect the power cord for damage and ensure blades are sharp and in good condition.
