To assemble the Cuisinart BFP-650, ensure the base is on a flat surface. Attach the work bowl to the base, aligning it with the motor shaft. Secure the lid onto the work bowl, ensuring it locks into place. Finally, attach the desired blade or attachment.
If the appliance stops working, first check if it is plugged in securely. Ensure the work bowl and lid are correctly assembled and locked. If it still doesn't work, wait for the motor to cool down, as it may have overheated.
To clean the BFP-650, unplug the unit and disassemble all removable parts. Wash the parts in warm, soapy water or place them in the top rack of the dishwasher. Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the base in water.
To use the pulse function, ensure the unit is properly assembled and the lid is secured. Press the pulse button intermittently to control the chopping or blending process, allowing you to achieve the desired consistency.
If the blades aren't rotating, check if the work bowl and lid are locked into position. Ensure that the blade is seated correctly on the motor shaft. Verify that the appliance is plugged in and the outlet is functioning.
Regularly clean all parts after each use. Check the blades for sharpness and replace them if necessary. Inspect the power cord for damage. Store the appliance in a dry place and avoid prolonged exposure to moisture.
It is not recommended to use hot ingredients in the BFP-650 as it may damage the plastic components. Allow ingredients to cool before processing.
Store blades and discs in a safe, dry place away from children. Consider using a blade storage case or keeping them wrapped in a towel inside a drawer to prevent accidental cuts.
If a burning odor is detected, immediately stop the appliance and unplug it. Check for food debris stuck in the blade area. Allow the motor to cool before attempting to use the appliance again.
Ensure longevity by regularly cleaning the appliance, avoiding overfilling, using the correct speed settings, and not running the motor continuously for extended periods. Store it properly when not in use.
