To assemble the Cuisinart CPM-28, first attach the kettle to the central pole inside the unit. Secure it by aligning the hooks and locking it in place. Then, place the lid on top and make sure the stirring arm is attached properly.
Allow the popcorn maker to cool completely before cleaning. Remove the kettle and wash it with warm, soapy water. Wipe down the interior and exterior with a damp cloth. Ensure all parts are dry before reassembling.
Ensure you are using fresh popcorn kernels and the correct amount of oil. Make sure the kettle is preheated, and do not exceed the recommended batch size.
Use the correct oil-to-kernel ratio and avoid overloading the kettle. Stirring should be consistent, and ensure the heat setting is appropriate for your popcorn type.
It is recommended to use oil rather than butter, as butter has a lower smoke point and can burn easily. You can add melted butter to the popcorn after it has been popped.
Check if the stirring arm is correctly attached to the motor shaft. If it is, unplug the device and inspect for any obstructions or damage to the motor. Contact customer service if the problem persists.
The Cuisinart CPM-28 can make up to 28 cups of popcorn per batch. Ensure not to exceed this limit to avoid spillage and uneven cooking.
Ensure that the popcorn maker is on a stable surface and that the kettle and lid are properly secured. If the noise persists, check for any loose parts or debris inside the unit.
It is recommended to unplug the popcorn maker when not in use to prevent any electrical hazards and to conserve energy.
You can use a variety of oils such as vegetable, canola, or coconut oil. Choose an oil with a high smoke point for the best results.
