To assemble, align the work bowl with the base and turn clockwise until it locks. Attach the blade onto the shaft. To disassemble, reverse the steps: remove the blade, then unlock and lift the work bowl.
Ensure the work bowl and lid are correctly aligned and locked into place. Check the power connection and outlet. If the issue persists, consult the user manual or contact customer support.
It is not recommended to process hot ingredients. Allow them to cool to room temperature before using the food processor to avoid damage or injury.
Disassemble the processor by removing the blade and work bowl. Wash these parts in warm soapy water or place them in the dishwasher. Wipe the base with a damp cloth.
The Cuisinart CH-4 is suitable for chopping vegetables, nuts, herbs, and even making small batches of sauces or purees. Avoid very hard items like bones.
The blades are not designed to be sharpened. If they become dull, it is advisable to replace them with a new set from an authorized dealer.
A burning smell can indicate overheating or motor strain. Turn off and unplug the unit immediately. Allow it to cool and check for blockages or overfilled containers.
The Cuisinart CH-4 is not designed for heavy doughs. It is best used for chopping and mixing soft ingredients. For dough, consider a larger model.
Regular cleaning after each use, checking for wear and tear on blades, and ensuring the motor base is free from food residue are essential maintenance tasks.
While it can be used for small quantities, the CH-4 is not optimized for coffee grinding. A dedicated coffee grinder is recommended for optimal results.
