To assemble the Cuisinart CFO-3SS, place the base on a flat surface, attach the temperature control probe to the pot, and ensure the power cord is properly connected. Finally, place the cooking bowl on the base and you are ready to start cooking.
To clean the Cuisinart CFO-3SS, ensure it is unplugged and cooled down. Remove the bowl and wash it with warm soapy water. The base can be wiped with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the base in water.
To prevent food from sticking, ensure the pot is preheated before adding ingredients. You can also lightly coat the interior with cooking oil.
You can use various oils, such as vegetable, canola, or peanut oil. Ensure the oil has a high smoke point for best results.
The indicator light on the temperature control probe will turn off when the desired temperature is reached. You can adjust the temperature using the dial as needed.
If your Cuisinart CFO-3SS is not heating up, ensure the power cord is securely connected and the temperature control probe is properly attached. Check the outlet as well. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
It's recommended to use non-metal utensils to avoid scratching the surface of the cooking pot. Opt for wooden or silicone utensils instead.
After cleaning, ensure the appliance is completely dry before storage. Store the unit in a cool, dry place, and keep the power cord wrapped neatly to avoid damage.
If smoke is emitted, turn off and unplug the appliance immediately. Allow it to cool and check for any burnt residue. Clean the pot if necessary and ensure no oil has spilled onto the heating element.
The cooking pot of the Cuisinart CFO-3SS is dishwasher safe. However, the base and temperature control probe should never be immersed in water or placed in the dishwasher.
