To assemble the Cuisinart CCJ-900, first ensure all parts are washed and dried. Place the base on a flat surface, attach the reamer to the spindle, and place the juice container securely on the base.
Ensure the Cuisinart CCJ-900 is plugged into a functioning outlet. Check if the juicer is properly assembled and the arm is lowered. If it still doesn't work, inspect for any blown fuses or tripped breakers.
Disassemble the juicer parts such as the reamer, juice container, and pulp basket. Wash them with warm, soapy water, or place them on the top rack of a dishwasher. Wipe the base with a damp cloth.
Ensure the fruit is properly cut and placed on the reamer. Check if the reamer is not worn out and is spinning correctly. Adjust the pulp control setting to your desired level for better extraction.
The Cuisinart CCJ-900 features an adjustable pulp control. Rotate the pulp control dial to set the desired level of pulp, ranging from low to high, based on your preference.
Regularly clean all removable parts after each use. Check for any wear and tear on the reamer and replace if necessary. Store the juicer in a dry place to prevent electrical issues.
Some vibration is normal during juicing. However, if the vibration is excessive, ensure the juicer is placed on a stable surface and all parts are assembled correctly.
The Cuisinart CCJ-900 is specifically designed for citrus fruits. It is not recommended for juicing vegetables as it may not extract juice efficiently from non-citrus produce.
Turn off and unplug the juicer. Gently wiggle the arm to release any obstruction. Ensure no food particles are blocking the arm's movement and that the arm is aligned correctly.
Avoid operating the juicer continuously for long periods. Allow it to cool down between juicing sessions. Ensure proper ventilation around the unit to prevent overheating.
