To reset your Cobra XRS 744 to factory settings, press and hold the 'Dim' and 'Mute' buttons simultaneously for about 2 seconds until you hear a beep. This will reset the device to its original settings.
To improve the detection range, ensure the device is mounted correctly on the windshield with a clear, unobstructed view of the road. Avoid placing it behind any metallic or tinted window treatments.
