To start the Cobra SLR 500, ensure the key is in the ignition, press the brake pedal, and then press the start button located on the dashboard.
The Cobra SLR 500 is designed to run on premium unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 91 or higher for optimal performance.
It is recommended to change the oil every 5,000 miles or every 6 months, whichever comes first. Always use the manufacturer-recommended oil type.
If the engine overheats, pull over safely, turn off the engine, and allow it to cool. Check the coolant level and refill if necessary. If the problem persists, contact a qualified mechanic.
To improve fuel efficiency, ensure regular maintenance, keep tires properly inflated, avoid excessive idling, and drive at optimal speeds.
Squealing brakes may indicate worn brake pads or the presence of debris between the pad and rotor. Inspect the brake pads and clean or replace them as necessary.
To reset the TPMS, turn the ignition to the "On" position without starting the engine, press the TPMS reset button until the indicator blinks three times, then drive for about 20 minutes to recalibrate.
At 30,000 miles, perform an oil change, replace the air filter, inspect the brakes, and check all fluids including transmission, brake, and coolant levels.
To change a flat tire, locate the jack and spare tire, loosen the lug nuts, lift the vehicle with the jack, remove the lug nuts and flat tire, mount the spare, and tighten the lug nuts securely.
If the vehicle won't start, check the battery for charge, ensure the gear is in park or neutral, and verify the brake is fully depressed. If the issue persists, consult a mechanic.
