To connect the PX700 to external speakers, use a standard 1/4-inch audio cable. Plug one end into the LINE OUT jack on the back of the keyboard and the other end into the input of your speaker system. Ensure the speaker system is powered on and adjust the volume accordingly.
First, check if the keyboard is properly powered and the volume is turned up. If the issue persists, perform a factory reset by turning off the keyboard, holding down the 'Function' button, and turning the keyboard back on. If the problem continues, professional servicing might be required.
To adjust touch sensitivity, press the 'Function' button and use the keys labeled for sensitivity settings (Soft, Medium, Hard) to select your preference. This allows you to customize the keyboard feel according to your playing style.
The PX700 does not have built-in recording capabilities. However, you can connect it to a computer via MIDI and use software to record your performance. Ensure you have the appropriate MIDI interface and recording software installed.
Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the keys gently. Avoid using any harsh chemicals or excessive moisture. Regular cleaning helps maintain the appearance and functionality of the keys.
The PX700 requires a 12V DC power supply. It is recommended to use the adapter provided with the keyboard or a compatible replacement to ensure proper operation.
Ensure the power outlet is working and the adapter is securely connected. Check for any visible damage to the power cord. If the keyboard still does not turn on, it may require professional servicing.
Press the 'Function' button, then use the ‘Transpose’ keys to adjust the pitch. You can shift the pitch up or down in semitone increments to match your desired key.
To sustain notes, connect a compatible sustain pedal to the 'Sustain Pedal' jack at the back of the keyboard. Pressing the pedal while playing will extend the sound of the notes similar to an acoustic piano.
Press the 'Tone' button, then use the keys labeled with different sound options to select your desired tone. The PX700 offers a variety of tones such as piano, strings, and organs.
