To perform basic arithmetic operations, use the number keys and arithmetic operation keys (+, -, *, /). Press the '=' key to get the result.
To calculate powers, use the '^' key followed by the exponent. For roots, use the '√' key for square roots or the shift key followed by '√' for other roots.
To reset the calculator, press and hold the 'SHIFT' key, then press 'CLR', and choose 'All' by pressing '3'. Confirm by pressing '='.
Turn off the calculator, remove the battery cover on the back, replace the old battery with a new AAA battery, and reattach the cover. Ensure the polarity is correct.
Use the 'SIN', 'COS', or 'TAN' buttons to perform trigonometric calculations. Ensure the calculator is in the correct angle mode (DEG or RAD) by pressing 'SHIFT' followed by 'MODE'.
Press 'SHIFT', then 'MODE', and select '3' for degrees or '4' for radians to change the angle unit.
To calculate a percentage, enter the number, press '*', enter the percentage, and then press '%'. Press '=' to get the result.
The fx-82AR X does not have a built-in function for solving quadratic equations directly, but you can manually input the quadratic formula to solve them.
Use 'M+' to add to memory, 'M-' to subtract from memory, 'MR' to recall memory contents, and 'MC' to clear memory.
