Do not disassemble or modify the video display. Inside,thevideodisplaycontainshigh-voltage/extremely hot/movablepartsthatcancausefire,electricshock, burnsorinjury.
Do not insert foreign objects or liquids into the video display. Ifmetallicobjects,flammableobjectsorliquidsget insidethevideodisplay,thismaycausefire,electric shockormalfunction.
Be sure to use the correct voltage. Usingapowersourcewithavoltageotherthanthat specifiedinthisinstructionmanualcancausefireor electricshock. Alwaysusethesupplied(orspecified)ACpowercord. Foryoursafety,donotusethisACpowercordto powerotherequipment.
Do not use the video display in the following places. Doingsocancausefire,electricshockormalfunction. - Closetoawindowwhenitisrainingorsnowing. - Placessubjecttohighhumidityanddust. - Placesexposedtowaterandmoisturesuchas bathrooms,kitchensetc. - Placesdirectlyexposedtodust,smokeorsteam, ornearbyheatersandhumidifiers. - Placeswhereflammablegasesmaybepresent. - Placesexposedtodirectsunlight.
Do not install or store the video display in places exposed to direct sunlight. Thevideodisplay'sinternaltemperaturecanriseand causefireormalfunction.
Do not damage the power cord. Donotplaceheavyobjectsonthepowercordanddo notpull,modify,heatortiethepowercordinabundle. Thepowercordmaybedamaged(exposedorbroken wires,etc.)andcausefireorelectricshock.
When using three-pronged plugs with a ground connection: Alwaysconnectthegroundprong. Ashortcircuitoccurringwhenthegroundprongisnot connectedcancausefireorelectricshock. Thevideodisplay'spowercablefeaturesathree- prongedplug.
Do not touch the power cable or plug during lightning storms. Thiscancauseelectricshock.

Observe the following precautions regarding the power source and power plug. If the video display was dropped or exposed to a strong impact, turn it off immediately and unplug the power plug. Thevideodisplayisaprecisioninstrumentand continueduseinsuchcasecanresultinashortcircuit andcausefireorelectricshock.
Before starting any maintenance work, turn off the video display and unplug the power plug. Failingtodosocancauseelectricshock.
In any case of unusual circumstances such as the presence of smoke or abnormal sounds or smell, immediately turn off the video display and unplug the power plug. Continuedusecancausefireorelectricshock.

Before moving, installing, removing or connecting the video display to peripheral devices, turn off the video display and all connected devices and unplug their power plugs. Failingtodosocancausefire,electricshockor malfunction.
For your safety, unplug the power plug from the power outlet when not using the video display for extended periods of time. Dustbuilduponthepowerplugcancausefire.
Do not obstruct the access to the power plug so it can always be easily unplugged. Failingtodisconnectthepowerplugimmediatelyafter unusualcircumstanceshaveoccurredcancausefireor electricshock.
Do not block the ventilation holes. Blockingthevideodisplay'sventholescanresultinthe internaltemperaturerisingandcausefireormalfunction. Observethefollowingprecautionstoensureproper ventilation. - Donotpushthevideodisplayintonarrowconfined spacesorenclosures. - Donotwrapthevideodisplayinclothorother materials. - Donotplacethevideodisplayfacingup,layit sidewaysorupside-down.
If the screen is damaged, do not touch the leaking liquid crystal or other internal liquids. IftheLCDpanelisdamagedandliquidcrystalorother internalliquidsleakout,donotputtheliquidsinthe mouth,inhaleorswallowitorletitcomeincontactwith theskin.Iftheliquidsgetintheeyeormouth,washit immediatelywithplentyofwater.Iftheliquidscomein contactwiththeskinorclothes,wipethemimmediately withalcoholetc.andwashtheexposedareawith soap.Leavingtheliquidsuntreatedcancauseinjuryor damage.
Use the carrying handle to carry the video display. Whencarryingthevideodisplay,besuretoholditby thecarryinghandle.Failuretodosocouldcausethe displaytofallandcauseaninjury.
Keep all packaging material out of the reach of children. Packagingmaterialtightlywrappedaroundsomeone's headcanresultinstrangulationorsuffocation.
CAUTION Denotestheriskofinjury.
Do not place any objects on the video display and do not climb on it. Thevideodisplaycantiporfallandcauseinjury.
Do not install the video display on an unstable surface. Installingthevideodisplayonawobblyorslanted surfacecancausethedisplaytotiporfallandcause injury.Thoroughlycheckalsothestrengthand sturdinessofthesurfacewherethevideodisplaywillbe placedorinstalled.
When unpacking, carrying, installing, or connecting the main unit, at least two people are required. Thevideodisplaycantiporfallandcauseinjury.
Take precautions to prevent the video display from tipping or falling. Inanearthquakethevideodisplaycantiporfall.For yoursafety,wheninstallingthevideodisplayonaTV standorotherfurniture,takeprecautionarymeasuresto securethevideodisplayagainsttippingorfalling.Taking suchmeasurescanbeeffectiveinreducingtheriskof injuryordamagebuttheeffectivenessoftheprevention measurescannotbeguaranteedinallearthquakes.
Follow the procedure in this manual to install the video display. Iftheinstallationisnotperformedcorrectly,thevideo displaymaytiltorfallandcauseinjury.
Inspect the condition of the installation about once per year. Aninadequatefittingormountingcancausethevideo displaytofallandcauseinjury.
When using headphones, set the volume at a safe level. Listeningthroughheadphonesatahighvolumecan harmyourhearing.
Do not look at the screen for long periods of time. Doingsocancauseconditionssuchaseyestrainor decreasedvision.Whenlookingatthescreenforlong periodsoftime,restperiodically.Ifyoufeeldiscomfort aftercontinuedusage,stopusingthevideodisplay immediatelyandrest.Ifyoucontinuetofeeldiscomfort, consultaphysician.

When Using the Main Unit
Thescreenmaybedamagedifitisleftfacing strongsourceoflight.Pleasetakeprecautions whenplacingitnearawindow.
Donotpressfirmlyonthescreen,scratchitor placeanobjectonthescreen.Itcancausenon- uniformityordamagetothepanel.
Thescreenandcabinetmaybecomewarmduring use.Notethisdoesnotconstituteamalfunction.
Viewingthedisplayforprolongedperiodsoftime mayleadtoeyestrainordecreasedvision.Please ensuretotakerestperiodicallytoavoidthese symptoms.

Thebacklighthasalimitedservicelifesoitsbrightness maydegradeandcolormaychangeduetoaging.
About Temporary Screen burn-in
Ifastationaryimageisdisplayedforaprolongedperiod, screenburn-inmayoccurwhereyouseeremnantsof whatwasdisplayed.ThisisacharacteristicofLCDand isnotafailure.However,thisisonlytemporaryandwill disappearwhenplayingvideo.
About the LCD screen
Thescreenisproducedusingextremelyhigh-precision manufacturingtechniques,withmorethan99.99%of thepixelsoperatingtospecification.Lessthan0.01%of thepixelsmayoccasionallymisfireorappearasblack, red,blueorgreendots.Inaddition,thistendencymay increasethroughlongtermuseduetocharacteristicof theLCDpanel.Thesedonotconstituteamalfunction.
Condensation
Ifthisequipmentisbroughtintoawarmroomwhileit iscoldoriftheroomisheatedsuddenly,condensation mayformonthesurfaceorinsidetheequipment.Note thattheequipmentmaybedamagedifitisusedunder suchcondition. Ifcondensationhasformedonthesurfaceorinside theequipment,donotusethevideodisplayasitmay getdamaged.Turnthepoweroffandwaituntilthe condensationhasevaporatedbeforeusingthevideo display.
Cleaning
Beforecleaning,besuretounplugthepowerplug.
Thescreenhasaspecialsurfacetreatment,avoid touchingitdirectlywithyourhand.Inaddition, neveraffixadhesiveobjectssuchasseals.
Neverusealcoholorbenzene,thinner,acidic cleaningsolution,alkalinecleaningsolution, abrasiveorchemicalwipesbecausethesewill damagethescreen.
Ifthescreenisdirty,wipegentlywithsoftdrycloth suchascleaningclothoreyeglassescleaning cloth.Wipingthescreentoohardmaycause unevennessonthescreenordamagetheLCD panel.Thescreenmaybescratchedifwipedtoo hardwithacleaningclothwithforeignparticles attached.
Whenthescreenisextremelydirty,wipewith softclothsuchascleaningclothoreyeglasses cleaningclothmoistenedwithwater-dilutedneutral detergent.
Useablowertoremovedustfromthesurfaceof thescreen.
Wipedirtoncabinetwithasoftcloth.Ifthescreen isverydirty,useamoistenedclothwithwater ormilddetergentdilutedwithwater.Donotuse alcohol,benzene,paintthinner,orpesticides astheymaydamagethesurfacefinishorerase charactersonthecabinet.
Disposing
Donotdisposetogetherwithnormalwaste.Donot includethevideodisplayinwastethatwillbetaken tolandfill.

Setting Up
Carrying the video display When carrying the video display, be sure to hold it by the carrying handle.
CAUTION When unpacking, carrying, installing, or connecting the main unit, please note that at
least two people are required.
When carrying the video display, handle it carefully so not to touch or damage the screen.
Preventing from Tipping
CAUTION When securing the main unit to a table or desk, please ensure the table or desk is strong enough to carry the weight of the main
unit.
For safety, make sure to perform this step with at least two people.
Avoid touching the screen during this step as it may damage it.
For safety reasons, when using the display for extended periods of time in a situation where it is subject to vibrations, shocks, or is tilted (when moving in a live broadcast vehicle, etc.), take additional measures to ensure the display remains fixed, such as the use of the screw holes on the stand or rear.

Use a commercially-available belt or strap to fasten it to a wall or other surface 1 Pass a strong, commercially-available belt or strap through both carrying handles on the rear side.

Whenthevideodisplayisplacedonarackordisplaystandandventilationarounditisblockedbyequipmentplacedaboveor beloworinasurroundingarea,theoperatingtemperaturemayincrease,causingafailureoroverheating.Inordertomaintainthe operatingtemperatureconditionofthevideodisplay(5Cto35C),makespaceofatleast1U(4.4cm)aboveandbelowandat least4cm(1.6in.)spacefromitsback.Makesufficientspacefromperipheralequipment,securevents,orinstallaventilationfan.
Wheninstallingthevideodisplayonawall,makesufficientspacefromthewallsothatcablesarenotsqueezedortwisted.

1 Place the display with the screen facing down on a soft cloth or cushioning material that is larger than the display.
2 Front stands (2): Remove the screws holding the stands (2 each). Rear stands (4): Remove the screws holding the stands (1 each). Donotlosetheremovedscrews.Donotusethesescrewsforotherpurposes.

1 Place the display with the screen facing down on a soft cloth or cushioning material that is larger than the display.
2 Align the position of the stand and screw hole on the video display. Alighttheconvexpartofthestandandconcavepartofthevideodisplay.
3 Front stands (2): Fasten the screws holding the stands (2 each). Rear stands (4): Fasten the screws holding the stands (1 each).

Attaching/detaching the AC Power Cord Clamp (provided)
Attaching
InstalltheACpowercordclampbeforeconnectingtheACpowercordtothemainunit.
1 Insert the AC power cord clamp connector into the cord clamp mounting hole (1).
2 Connect the AC power cord to the main unit (2).
3 Secure the AC power cord in place with the holder (3). Theholdershouldalwaysbefastenedinthepositionasshowninthe illustration.
4 Press the holder against the main unit (4). Makesurethatthereisnoslack(A). Pullingtheholderlockleverinthedirectionofthearrowwillallowyouto adjusttheholderposition(5).
Detaching
1 Pull the holder lever in the direction of the arrow (6) and remove the AC power cord clamp from the AC power cord.
2 Press the knobs on the left and right and pull out the AC power cord clamp from the video display (7).

Connecting the Main Unit to Input Devices The video display has SDI and HDMI input terminals to connect input devices.
CAUTION Check that the power to the video display and input devices is switched off before connecting an input device to this display's SDI
or HDMI input terminal.
Use a HDMI cable with the High Speed logo that complies with the HDMI standard. When a non-compliant HDMI standard cable is used, the video display may not work normally, for example, video becomes choppy or nothing is displayed.
Reference The connection is tested using D5.5UHDC03E BNC cables manufactured by Canare Electric Co.
When 3G-SDI RAW signal frequency exceeds 30.00P, it becomes a dual connection.
Each input terminal is compatible with through output. When signals are input from Input (IN) A, connect the cable to the SDI (OUT) terminal of Input A.

Turning on the Main Unit's power 1 Plug the provided AC power cord to the AC power supply input terminal at the rear.
Thevideodisplaygoesintostandbyandthepowerindicatorlightsupinamber.
2 Press the power supply button at the front. Thepowerindicatorlightsgreen.
