To connect the AXC25 to your amplifier, use a high-quality RCA cable. Connect one end to the RCA output on the back of the AXC25 and the other end to the CD or AUX input on your amplifier. Ensure both devices are powered off during the connection process.
If the AXC25 is not reading discs, ensure the disc is clean and free from scratches. Try other discs to rule out a defective disc. If the issue persists, perform a power cycle by unplugging the player for a few minutes and then plugging it back in.
To clean the laser lens, use a commercially available CD lens cleaner. Follow the instructions provided with the cleaner. Avoid using liquids or manual intervention inside the player as it may void the warranty.
The AXC25 supports only standard audio CDs and does not support MP3 or other compressed audio formats. Ensure your CDs are in the standard audio format.
Check that the RCA cables are securely connected to both the AXC25 and the amplifier. Verify that the amplifier is set to the correct input source and that the volume is turned up. Additionally, ensure the disc is playing correctly by checking the display on the AXC25.
The AXC25 does not support firmware updates. It is designed to operate with its factory-installed software. If you encounter issues, consult the user manual or contact Cambridge Audio support.
Keep the AXC25 in a clean, dry, and well-ventilated environment. Dust it regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Ensure it is not exposed to extreme temperatures or humidity, and handle discs carefully to avoid introducing dirt into the player.
Check the disc for scratches or dirt. Clean it with a soft, lint-free cloth if necessary. Ensure the player is on a stable, vibration-free surface. Persistent issues may require professional servicing.
Some noise such as faint whirring from the disc spinning is normal. However, if you hear loud noises or grinding, stop using the player and inspect the disc and the player for any visible issues.
To reset the AXC25, power it off, unplug it from the power source, and wait for about 10 seconds. Then, plug it back in and power it on. This should resolve minor software glitches.
