To reset the oil life monitor, turn the ignition to the "On" position without starting the engine. Press the "Info" button until the "Oil Life" screen appears, then press and hold the "Reset" button until the display shows 100%.
For a 2012 Cadillac CTS, it is recommended to use SAE 5W-30 full synthetic oil that meets GM standard GM6094M.
