To start a wash cycle, load the dishwasher, add detergent, close the door, select the desired cycle using the control panel, and press the start button.
Ensure the dishwasher is plugged in, the door is fully closed and latched, and that the water supply is on. Additionally, check the circuit breaker and reset if necessary.
Remove the lower dish rack, unscrew the filter cover in the bottom of the dishwasher, lift out the filter, rinse it under running water, and reinstall it securely.
Check for clogs in the drain hose, ensure that the garbage disposal is clear if connected, and clean the dishwasher filter. If the problem persists, inspect the drain pump.
Make sure dishes are loaded correctly, check and clean the spray arms, use the correct amount of detergent, and ensure the water temperature is at least 120°F (49°C).
Regularly clean the filter and spray arms, and run an empty cycle with a dishwasher cleaner or a cup of white vinegar placed on the top rack.
Clean the filter monthly, inspect and clean spray arms, check the door seals for debris, and run a cleaning cycle with vinegar or a dishwasher cleaner every few months.
Error code E4 typically indicates a water overflow condition. Check for leaks, ensure the float switch is not stuck, and verify that the water inlet valve is functioning properly.
To reset the dishwasher, press and hold the start button for about 3 seconds or until the display panel goes blank, then restart the desired cycle.
Check the door gasket for damage, ensure the dishwasher is level, inspect hoses and connections for leaks, and make sure the detergent is not causing excessive suds.
