To reset your Bush BFSLSAEB9B dishwasher, press and hold the Start/Reset button for about 3 seconds until the display shows a reset indicator. This will cancel the current cycle and the dishwasher will drain.
Check if the drain hose is kinked or clogged. Also, ensure that the dishwasher filter is clean and free of debris. If the problem persists, inspect the drain pump for obstructions.
Ensure that the Rinse Aid dispenser is filled, as it helps in drying. Also, select the drying or extra dry option if available, and leave the door slightly open after the cycle is complete to allow moisture to escape.
Inspect for any foreign objects such as utensils or small debris that might be interfering with the spray arms. Also, check if the dishwasher is level and adjust the feet if necessary to reduce vibration noise.
Remove the bottom rack to access the filter. Twist and lift the filter out, then rinse it under running water to remove food particles. Use a soft brush if necessary. Reinstall the filter by aligning it and twisting it back into place.
Place larger items like pots and pans on the bottom rack, ensuring they do not block the spray arms. Load cups and glasses on the top rack, and angle them for water to drain. Avoid overcrowding for optimal cleaning performance.
Make sure the spray arms are not obstructed and can rotate freely. Check that the detergent dispenser is functioning and that you are using the correct type and amount of detergent. Also, ensure that the water temperature is at least 120°F (49°C).
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the filter every month, checking and cleaning the spray arms every few months, and inspecting the door seals periodically for any signs of wear or damage.
For heavily soiled dishes, use the Intensive or Heavy cycle. This cycle provides a longer wash time and higher temperature to effectively clean stubborn food residues.
Use the Eco or Energy-Save cycle to reduce energy consumption. Additionally, run the dishwasher with a full load and avoid using the heated dry option to save on energy costs.
