Brother LS2350 Operation Manual

To thread the Brother LS2350, start by raising the presser foot and turning the handwheel to raise the needle. Follow the threading path indicated on the machine, ensuring the thread passes through each guide and the tension discs. Finally, thread the needle from front to back.
Skipping stitches can be caused by a dull or bent needle, incorrect threading, or using the wrong needle for the fabric. Replace the needle, rethread the machine, and ensure you're using the correct needle size and type for your fabric.
To adjust the tension, locate the tension dial on the machine. Turn the dial to a higher number to increase tension or to a lower number to decrease it. Test on a scrap piece of fabric until the stitch looks balanced.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the lint from the bobbin area, changing the needle regularly, and oiling the machine as per the manual's instructions. Always unplug the machine before performing any maintenance.
To change the needle, turn off the machine and raise the needle to its highest position. Loosen the needle clamp screw, remove the old needle, and insert a new one with the flat side facing the back. Tighten the needle clamp screw securely.
Loud noises can be caused by a bent needle, incorrect threading, or a need for cleaning and lubrication. Check and replace the needle if necessary, rethread the machine, and clean and oil the machine according to the manual.
Place the thread spool on the spool pin and pass the thread through the thread guide. Wind the thread around the bobbin winder tension disc and place the bobbin on the bobbin winder spindle. Push the bobbin to the right and press the foot pedal to start winding.
The Brother LS2350 can sew a variety of fabrics including cotton, linen, satin, and lightweight denim. For best results, ensure you are using the appropriate needle and thread type for your fabric.
Uneven stitches can be caused by incorrect tension settings, improper threading, or using the wrong needle. Check the tension settings, rethread the machine, and ensure the needle is appropriate for the fabric type.
If the fabric is not feeding, check that the presser foot is lowered and the feed dogs are raised. Ensure you are not pulling the fabric while sewing. If needed, clean the feed dogs to remove any lint buildup.
