To assemble the Breville VHB109, attach the blending leg to the motor body by lining up the arrow on the blending leg with the arrow on the motor body. Twist until it locks into place.
Ensure that the power cord is plugged into a functioning power outlet. Check if the blending leg is properly attached. If the problem persists, consult the user manual or contact Breville customer support.
Detach the blending leg from the motor body. Wash the blending leg in warm soapy water, rinse, and dry thoroughly. Wipe the motor body with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the motor body in water.
The Breville VHB109 is not designed for ice crushing. Using it for ice could damage the blades and the motor. Consider using a blender specifically designed for ice crushing.
Ensure the blender is clean and dry before storage. Detach the blending leg from the motor body and store both parts in a dry place, preferably in a cabinet or drawer to avoid dust accumulation.
To prevent overheating, do not use the blender continuously for more than one minute. Allow it to cool down between uses if blending large quantities.
If the blades become dull, consider purchasing a replacement blending leg from Breville or an authorized dealer. Attempting to sharpen the blades yourself is not recommended.
Yes, the Breville VHB109 can be used with hot ingredients, but exercise caution to avoid splattering. Allow ingredients to cool slightly if they are boiling.
To minimize splatter, ensure that the blade is fully submerged in the ingredients before turning on the blender and use a deep container for blending. Start blending at a low speed.
Regularly check the power cord for any damage. Ensure the blades and blending leg are clean after each use. Store the blender in a dry place, and periodically inspect the attachments for wear and tear.
