To clean the Breville VHB014, detach the blending shaft and wash it in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth and dry immediately. Do not immerse the motor base in water.
If the blender stops working, it might have overheated. Turn off the appliance and unplug it. Allow it to cool for 20 minutes before attempting to use it again. Ensure that the vents are not blocked and avoid overloading the blender.
To ensure efficient operation, do not exceed the recommended quantities and avoid running the blender continuously for more than 60 seconds. Allow the motor to rest for a few seconds between uses.
The Breville VHB014 is not designed for crushing ice. Using it for this purpose can damage the blades and motor. Use only for blending soft ingredients.
The Breville VHB014 typically comes with a blending shaft, a whisk attachment, and a chopping bowl. Use the blending shaft for soups and smoothies, the whisk for whipping cream or eggs, and the chopping bowl for herbs, nuts, and similar ingredients.
Ensure all parts are clean and dry before storage. Store the motor base and attachments in a cool, dry place. Keep the blades covered or in a protective case to avoid accidents.
A loud noise may indicate that the blade assembly is loose or misaligned. Check that the blending shaft and attachments are securely attached. If the problem persists, contact Breville customer support for further assistance.
Avoid submerging the motor base in water, and do not operate the blender with wet hands. Always ensure the appliance is unplugged when not in use and when attaching or detaching accessories.
Regularly inspect the blades for damage or dullness. Sharpen or replace if necessary. Always clean the blades immediately after use to prevent residue buildup, which can dull the blades over time.
Ensure that the ingredients are cut into small, uniform pieces and that the blending jar is not overloaded. Check that the blades are not dull or damaged, and that the speed setting is appropriate for the ingredients.
