To start a washing cycle, first load your laundry into the drum. Add detergent to the dispenser. Select the desired wash program using the control dial. Press the 'Start/Pause' button to begin the cycle.
If the washing machine does not start, ensure it is plugged in and the door is properly closed. Check that the water supply is turned on and the 'Start/Pause' button is pressed. Also, verify that the child lock is not activated.
To clean the detergent drawer, remove it by pulling it out until it stops, then press the release lever. Wash the drawer under warm water to remove any detergent residue. Re-insert the drawer once clean.
Excessive vibration can be caused by an unbalanced load. Pause the cycle and redistribute the laundry evenly in the drum. Ensure the washing machine is level by adjusting its feet if necessary.
To perform a drum clean cycle, remove all laundry from the drum. Add a drum cleaner or 250ml of white vinegar to the detergent drawer. Run the machine on an empty cycle at the hottest temperature setting.
If the washing machine is not draining, check if the drain hose is kinked or blocked. Ensure the filter is clean and free from debris. Also, verify that the drain pump is functioning correctly.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the detergent drawer, checking and cleaning the filter, ensuring the drum is free from foreign objects, and wiping the door seal to prevent mold.
To unlock the child lock, press and hold the 'Prewash' and 'Rinse' buttons simultaneously for about 3 seconds until the lock indicator turns off.
Check all hoses and connections for leaks. Ensure the detergent drawer is not overfilled. Inspect the door seal for any damage or debris that might prevent a proper seal.
To reduce energy consumption, wash full loads, use cold water settings when possible, and select energy-saving programs. Regularly clean the machine to ensure it operates efficiently.
