Use a soft cloth or sponge with warm soapy water for regular cleaning. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads that can scratch the surface. For stubborn stains, use a specialized ceramic hob cleaner.
The clicking noise is normal and indicates the induction coils are adjusting to maintain the correct temperature. If the noise is excessive or unusual, check if the cookware base is flat and appropriate for induction cooking.
Regularly clean the hob after each use to prevent residue buildup. Use suitable induction-compatible cookware with flat bases. Avoid dragging pans across the surface to prevent scratches.
To set a timer, select the cooking zone, press the timer button, then use the "+" and "-" buttons to set the desired time. The hob will automatically turn off the selected zone once the timer reaches zero.
No, only use cookware that is compatible with induction cooking. This includes pots and pans with ferrous metal bases such as stainless steel and cast iron. Avoid using glass, ceramic, or aluminum unless it has a magnetic base.
Ensure the control panel is clean and dry. Try resetting the hob by turning off the power supply for a few minutes and then turning it back on. If the problem persists, contact Brandt technical support.
To minimize scratches, avoid sliding pots and pans across the surface. Always lift cookware when moving it. Use cookware with smooth, flat bottoms and clean the hob regularly to remove particles that might cause scratches.
To reset the hob, turn off the power at the circuit breaker or unplug the unit for at least 30 seconds. Reconnect the power and turn the hob back on. This can resolve many minor issues.
