Brandt WT13895D User Manual

To start a wash cycle, first load your laundry into the drum, add detergent to the dispenser, select the desired wash program using the control panel, and press the start button.
Ensure that the water supply valve is open, check that the inlet hose is not kinked, and verify that the filter in the water inlet is not clogged.
Remove the dispenser drawer by pulling it out, then wash it under running water to remove any detergent residue. Use a brush if necessary to clean the compartments.
Excessive vibration may be caused by an unbalanced load. Try redistributing the clothes evenly in the drum. Also, ensure that the machine is level by adjusting its feet.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the drum, dispenser, and door seal, checking hoses for wear, and running a hot cycle with vinegar or a washing machine cleaner monthly.
Check for loose hose connections, inspect the door seal for damage, and ensure the detergent drawer is not overfilled, causing overflow.
Make sure the cycle is fully completed. If it is, wait a few minutes for the lock to release. If the door still won't open, unplug the machine for safety and check the door latch.
Leave the door slightly ajar after each use to allow the drum to dry, regularly clean the door seal, and occasionally run a hot wash cycle with a cup of baking soda or a washing machine cleaner.
Some cycles automatically adjust time based on load weight and water pressure. Check if extra rinse or other options are enabled. Consult the manual for details on cycle times.
To reset the machine, unplug it from the power source, wait at least 30 seconds, and then plug it back in. This can help resolve minor glitches.
