To start a wash cycle, load your laundry into the drum, add detergent to the dispenser, select the desired wash program using the control panel, and press the 'Start' button.
Ensure the machine is properly plugged in and that the door is closed securely. Check if the water supply is turned on and that there are no error codes displayed.
Remove the detergent drawer by pulling it out gently and pressing the release tab. Rinse it under warm water to remove any residue and dry thoroughly before reinserting.
Ensure the washing machine is level by adjusting the feet. Check if the load is balanced, and redistribute the clothes if necessary.
Run an empty wash cycle with hot water and add a cup of white vinegar or a washing machine cleaner to the drum to remove any build-up and odors.
The maximum load capacity of the Brandt WBT6103 is 6 kg for cotton cycles. Refer to the user manual for specific load recommendations for other fabrics.
Check if the drain hose is kinked or blocked. Also, inspect the pump filter for any obstructions and clean it if necessary.
Use high-efficiency (HE) detergent for best results. Follow the detergent manufacturer's instructions for the correct dosage based on load size and soil level.
The filter should be cleaned every month or whenever you notice a problem with drainage or water flow.
Perform a maintenance wash using hot water and a washing machine cleaner or white vinegar. Leave the door open between washes to allow the drum to dry and prevent odors.
