Place large and heavily soiled items in the lower rack. Ensure that dishes do not block the detergent dispenser and that spray arms can rotate freely. Utensils should be placed in the designated basket with handles facing down.
Check if the dishwasher is properly plugged in and if the circuit breaker has not tripped. Ensure the door is fully closed and latched. Also, verify that the water supply is turned on.
Inspect and clean the filter and drain pump area to remove any debris. Check the drain hose for kinks or blockages. Ensure the dishwasher is installed correctly with the proper drain connection.
Regularly clean the spray arms and filters. Use a dishwasher cleaner monthly to remove limescale and grease. Inspect door seals for any damage and replace them if necessary.
Unusual noises may be caused by items touching the spray arms or the dishwasher not being level. Ensure dishes are loaded correctly and adjust the leveling feet if necessary.
Use a rinse aid to enhance drying results. Ensure the "Extra Dry" function is selected if available. Allow dishes to cool before unloading to prevent condensation from forming.
Use high-quality dishwasher detergents in tablet, gel, or powder form. Avoid using hand dishwashing liquids as they can cause excessive sudsing.
Regularly clean the filter and the interior of the dishwasher. Run an empty cycle with a cup of vinegar placed on the top rack. Ensure that the door is left slightly open between uses to allow ventilation.
Check the water hardness in your area and adjust the amount of detergent accordingly. Use a rinse aid to prevent spots. Ensure that the water temperature is set to at least 120°F (49°C) for optimal cleaning.
To reset the dishwasher, press and hold the start button for three seconds until the indicator lights flash. This will cancel the current cycle and allow you to start a new one.
