To start a wash cycle, first load your dishes and add detergent. Then, select your desired wash program using the control panel, and press the start button. Ensure the door is properly closed to initiate the cycle.
Check if the drain hose is kinked or clogged. Also, inspect the filter and pump for obstructions. Clean the filter if necessary and ensure that the drain hose is properly connected.
Remove the lower rack to access the filter. Twist the filter counterclockwise and lift it out. Rinse the filter under running water to remove debris. Reinstall the filter by placing it back and twisting it clockwise to secure it.
White residue may be due to hard water. Ensure you're using the correct amount of rinse aid and consider using a dishwasher cleaner or descaler to remove mineral buildup.
Error code E4 indicates a water overflow issue. Check for leaks or an overfilled dishwasher. Ensure the water supply valve is functioning correctly and not allowing excessive water into the dishwasher.
It's recommended to clean the spray arms every 3-6 months. Remove them and rinse under water, ensuring the nozzles are clear of debris. Use a toothpick to remove any stubborn blockages.
Inspect the latch and the strike plate for any visible damage or misalignment. Tighten any loose screws and ensure the door seal is not obstructing closure.
Avoid putting wooden, cast iron, and certain plastic items in the dishwasher. Check items for dishwasher-safe labels if unsure. Delicate items like fine china and crystal should also be hand-washed.
Ensure that you're using rinse aid to improve drying. Additionally, select a wash program with a drying option and avoid overloading the dishwasher to allow proper air circulation.
To reset the dishwasher, turn it off by pressing the power button. Wait for a few minutes, then turn it back on. If the problem persists, consult the user manual for further troubleshooting steps.
