Place larger items like pots and pans on the bottom rack, ensuring they do not block the spray arms. Position plates and bowls with their dirty sides facing the center. Use the top rack for glasses, cups, and smaller items, placing them upside down for effective cleaning.
First, check if the dishwasher is plugged in and that the circuit breaker is not tripped. Ensure the door is fully closed and latched. Verify that the water supply is turned on. If the problem persists, consult the user manual or contact customer support.
To enhance drying, use a rinse aid in every wash. Selecting a higher temperature setting can also improve drying results. Additionally, ensure that the dishwasher is not overloaded, allowing air to circulate freely around all items.
Regularly clean the filter at the bottom of the dishwasher to prevent blockages. Wipe the door seals with a damp cloth and check for debris. Run an empty cycle with a dishwasher cleaner monthly to keep the interior free of buildup.
Spots on glassware are often due to hard water. Use a rinse aid to prevent spots and consider using a water softener if your area has particularly hard water. Ensure that the detergent used is suitable for your water hardness level.
Use high-quality, automatic dishwasher detergents in powder, gel, or tablet form. Avoid using regular dish soap as it can cause excess foaming and potential damage.
Inspect the door seal for damage or debris. Ensure that dishes are not obstructing the door from closing properly. Check the water inlet and drain hoses for any leaks or loose connections.
Longer cycles can occur if the dishwasher detects heavily soiled loads or low water temperatures. Ensure that the water heater is set to at least 120°F (49°C) and verify that the dishwasher is not overloaded.
Ensure the dishwasher is level and securely installed. Check for any loose items inside that may rattle. Use the provided sound insulation padding during installation if available.
Error code 'E4' usually indicates a drainage issue. Check that the drain hose is not kinked or clogged and that the sink drain is not blocked. Clean the filter and restart the dishwasher. If the problem persists, consult the manual or contact support.
