To clean the ceramic glass surface, wait until the hob is cool. Use a soft cloth or sponge with a mild detergent. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or scrubbing pads that may scratch the surface.
If the touch control panel is not responding, make sure it is not locked. If the lock indicator is on, press and hold the lock button for a few seconds to unlock it. Ensure that the surface is clean and dry.
To set a timer for a cooking zone, select the cooking zone and press the timer button. Use the "+" and "-" buttons to set the desired time. The hob will automatically turn off the zone once the timer reaches zero.
Ensure that no flammable materials are near the hob when in use. Do not leave cooking unattended, and avoid spilling liquids on the control panel. Use cookware with flat and stable bases.
The Brandt TE560FF1 hob has a residual heat indicator for each cooking zone. If the indicator is lit, the corresponding zone is still hot. Do not touch until the indicator turns off.
Use cookware with a flat base made of materials suitable for ceramic glass hobs, such as stainless steel or cast iron. Avoid using cookware with uneven or rough bases.
To reset the hob, turn it off and disconnect it from the power supply for at least 30 seconds. Reconnect and turn it on again. If the issue persists, consult a professional technician.
The hob may turn off automatically due to overheating protection or if the maximum operation time is reached. Check for obstructions around the hob and ensure proper ventilation.
