To turn on the Brandt TE272WC1 hob, press the power button located on the control panel. Select the desired cooking zone and adjust the heat setting using the +/- buttons.
Ensure that the hob is connected to a power source and turned on. Check if the child lock feature is activated, and deactivate it if necessary. If the problem persists, consult the user manual or contact customer support.
Clean the hob surface with a damp cloth and a mild detergent. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or scouring pads to prevent scratching. Wipe dry with a soft cloth after cleaning.
The clicking noise is normal and is caused by the hob’s induction technology as it cycles on and off to maintain the desired temperature.
To use the timer, select the cooking zone and press the timer button. Use the +/- buttons to set the desired time. The hob will automatically turn off the cooking zone once the timer reaches zero.
The Brandt TE272WC1 hob requires induction-compatible cookware, such as those made with ferrous metals like cast iron or stainless steel with a magnetic base.
If the hob becomes unresponsive, turn off the power at the mains for a few minutes before turning it back on. This can reset the hob’s control system.
Error code "E2" indicates an overheating issue. Ensure adequate ventilation around the hob and allow it to cool down. If the error persists, refer to the user manual or contact customer support.
To activate the child lock, press and hold the lock button for a few seconds until the indicator light turns on. This will prevent accidental changes to the hob settings.
Aluminum pans are not directly compatible with induction hobs unless they have a ferrous base. You can check compatibility by seeing if a magnet sticks to the base of the pan.
