To unlock the Brandt STV936B hob, press and hold the lock button for about 3 seconds until the indicator light turns off.
Ensure that the hob is connected to power and the correct cooking zone is selected. Check if the cookware is compatible and properly centered on the cooking zone.
Use a soft cloth or sponge with warm soapy water to clean the hob surface. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or scouring pads that can scratch the glass surface.
An "E" error code indicates an electronic fault. Try resetting the hob by turning off power for a few minutes. If the error persists, contact Brandt customer service.
Press the timer button, select the cooking zone, and use the "+" or "-" buttons to set the desired time. The hob will turn off automatically once the timer reaches zero.
Use flat-bottomed cookware made of materials like stainless steel or cast iron for optimal performance. Ensure the base is suitable for induction cooking.
Use cookware that matches the size of the cooking zone and always cover pots with lids to retain heat. Utilize the residual heat by turning off the hob early.
The child lock feature prevents accidental operation. To activate it, press the lock button until the indicator activates. Repeat to deactivate it.
Ensure the surface is dry and clean. If the issue persists, disconnect the hob from power for a few minutes and reconnect it.
To reset the hob, disconnect it from the power source for at least 5 minutes, then reconnect it. This can resolve minor electronic issues.
