To adjust the temperature settings, locate the temperature control panel inside the refrigerator. Use the dial or digital interface to set your desired temperature. For optimal food preservation, keep the refrigerator between 3°C and 5°C.
Check if the refrigerator is plugged in and the power is on. Ensure that the thermostat is set to the correct temperature. Clear any obstructions from the air vents inside the fridge and clean the condenser coils at the back. If the problem persists, contact a qualified technician.
It's recommended to clean the condenser coils every 6 months. This helps maintain efficient operation and prolongs the lifespan of the refrigerator. Use a vacuum cleaner or a brush to remove dust and debris from the coils.
Water pooling could be due to a blocked defrost drain. Check and clear any clogs in the defrost drain located at the back of the refrigerator. Also, ensure that food packages are not blocking the drain hole.
To prevent ice buildup, ensure that the freezer door seals are intact and not leaking air. Avoid leaving the freezer door open for extended periods. Additionally, do not overload the freezer as this can restrict airflow.
Place raw meat and fish on the bottom shelf to prevent contamination. Store dairy products on the upper shelves, and keep fruits and vegetables in the designated crisper drawers. Use the door compartments for condiments and beverages.
First, unplug the refrigerator. Locate the light cover inside the fridge, remove it by unscrewing or unclipping, and replace the bulb with a new one of the same type and wattage. Replace the cover and plug the refrigerator back in.
Check the door seals for any damage or debris. Clean the seals with warm, soapy water and ensure they are not loose or torn. Adjust the leveling feet to make sure the refrigerator is standing evenly. If the problem continues, consider replacing the door seals.
Keep the refrigerator away from heat sources like ovens and direct sunlight. Ensure that the door seals are intact and close tightly. Avoid overloading the fridge and leave space for air circulation. Regularly clean the condenser coils to maintain efficiency.
To defrost, remove all food items and unplug the refrigerator. Leave the doors open to let the ice melt naturally. Use towels to soak up the water and speed up the process by placing bowls of hot water inside. Once defrosted, clean and dry the interior before plugging it back in.
