To adjust the temperature settings, locate the control panel inside the refrigerator. Use the up and down buttons to set your desired temperature. The recommended setting is usually between 3°C and 5°C for the refrigerator compartment.
First, check if the refrigerator is plugged in and the power is on. Ensure the thermostat is set to the correct temperature. Clean the condenser coils located at the back or bottom of the unit. If the problem persists, it may be necessary to call a service technician.
The Brandt SA2351E is a frost-free refrigerator, so manual defrosting is not required. However, it is advisable to clean the freezer compartment every 6 months to ensure optimal performance.
Turn off and unplug the refrigerator. Remove all food items and detachable shelves. Clean the interior with a mixture of mild soap and warm water. Rinse with clean water and dry with a soft cloth before replacing the shelves and food items.
Ensure the door seals are tight and free of cracks. Avoid placing hot food directly into the refrigerator. Maintain adequate space around the refrigerator for air circulation. Regularly clean the condenser coils to enhance efficiency.
Check if the refrigerator is level and adjust the feet if necessary. Ensure there are no objects on top of the refrigerator vibrating. If the noise persists, it could indicate a faulty fan or compressor, which may require professional repair.
Unplug the refrigerator. Locate the light cover in the interior, usually at the top. Remove the cover by unscrewing it or releasing the clips. Replace the bulb with a new one of the same type and wattage, then replace the cover.
Water leakage can be caused by a blocked defrost drain, a damaged water inlet valve, or a cracked water filter. Check and clean the defrost drain, inspect the water inlet valve, and replace the water filter if necessary.
Ensure the refrigerator is level. Check if the door seals are clean and free from debris. If the seal is damaged, it may need to be replaced. Also, ensure that shelves and food items are not obstructing the door.
Remove all food and clean the interior with a mixture of baking soda and water. Place a box of baking soda or activated charcoal inside the refrigerator to absorb odors. Ensure food items are sealed properly to prevent future odors.
