To assemble the Brandt ROB707BX food processor, start by placing the bowl onto the base, aligning it properly. Attach the blade or disc holder onto the motor shaft. Finally, secure the lid on top, ensuring it clicks into place.
If the food processor does not start, check to ensure it is plugged in properly. Verify that all components, including the bowl and lid, are locked into place as the device has safety mechanisms to prevent operation if not assembled correctly.
To clean the food processor, first unplug it. Remove and wash all removable parts such as the bowl, blades, and lid with warm soapy water. Wipe the base with a damp cloth, avoiding submersion in water. All removable parts are dishwasher safe.
The pulse function allows for short bursts of power, giving you better control over the processing of foods. This is particularly useful for rough chopping or when you want to avoid over-processing.
Store the blades and discs in a dedicated storage case or in the bowl with the lid securely on to prevent accidental injury. Ensure they are dry before storing to avoid rusting.
Unusual noises can occur if the bowl or lid is not properly locked, or if there is an obstruction in the blade. Turn off and unplug the processor, then check and reposition the components or remove any obstructions.
It is not recommended to process hot ingredients as they can damage the bowl or cause pressure build-up. Allow hot ingredients to cool before processing.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning after each use, checking the blades for sharpness, and inspecting the power cord for damage. Periodically check the motor base for dust or food particles.
To ensure longevity, always follow the manufacturer's instructions for use and cleaning. Avoid overloading the processor, and store it in a dry, safe place. Regularly inspect the components for wear and replace them as needed.
If the blades become dull, they can be sharpened professionally or replaced. Contact Brandt customer service for replacement parts or visit an authorized service center.
