To start a wash cycle, load your laundry into the drum, add detergent to the dispenser, select the desired wash program using the control panel, and press the 'Start' button. Ensure the door is properly closed before starting.
First, check if the drain hose is kinked or clogged. Ensure the filter is clean and free of debris. If the problem persists, inspect the pump for blockages or consider contacting Brandt customer support for further assistance.
Remove the detergent drawer by pulling it out gently. Wash it under warm water using a soft brush to remove any residue. Ensure it is completely dry before reinserting it into the machine.
Regularly clean the detergent drawer, check and clean the filter, inspect and clean the door seal, and run a maintenance wash cycle with an empty drum using a washing machine cleaner.
Ensure the washing machine is level by adjusting its feet. Avoid overloading the drum and evenly distribute the laundry. Check for any transit bolts that may not have been removed during installation.
Wait a few minutes for the door lock to release. If it remains locked, ensure the machine has drained completely. Check for error codes on the display and refer to the manual for further instructions.
Ensure you are using the correct amount of detergent according to the manufacturer's instructions. Consider using a high-efficiency detergent and running an extra rinse cycle if necessary.
Check that the water supply taps are turned on and the hoses are not kinked. Inspect the inlet filters for blockages and ensure the door is properly closed. If the issue persists, a technician may be needed.
Select your desired wash program, then press the 'Delay Start' button. Use the program selector to set the desired delay time, and press 'Start' to activate the delay function.
Run an empty wash cycle using a drum cleaner or a mixture of white vinegar and baking soda to remove any build-up and odors. Perform this maintenance wash every month.
